Growing Season

Spring is often celebrated as a time for growth, but in metro Phoenix we always seem to be in growth mode! As we look back on this season, I’m grateful to work with a team of employees, subcontractors and clients who don’t just build to build or grow to grow. Instead, we approach opportunities thoughtfully and execute intentional strategies that make the highest and best use of every land site, every building plan and every occasion to advance and improve. Supreme Infill: Empire 101

On behalf of KBC Advisors, SLC has broken ground on Empire 101, a new Class A industrial project located on an uber-infill site in Peoria, Arizona – fronting the Loop 101, just 12 minutes from the new TSMC Semiconductor Fab and accessible to almost 2.5 million residents within a 30-minute drive. Metrocenter Revisited

SLC is working with a long-time client to complete a multi-million-dollar renovation that will transform Lake Biltmore Corporate Center into one of the Metrocenter submarket’s most contemporary, amenity-rich work environments. Go Big or Go Home: Georgia Pacific @ PLC Two

We’re used to “big” in the Phoenix industrial market, but our tenant improvement for Georgia Pacific at Phoenix Logistics Center takes “big” to a new level. With great attention to detail, our SLC team completed this space to support the world’s largest digital pre-print press for corrugated package. Get the details here.

Mike Stevens Retirement

We can’t sign-off without a heartfelt thank you to SLC co-founder Mike Stevens. Mike retired in December after more than four decades of leadership, and we came together to celebrate that milestone in April. Mike Stevens and Mark Leinweber (also retired) shaped SLC one project at a time, with great care and integrity. We will be forever grateful for their hard work and the legacy they have left us!
