Selflessness Wins

At SLC, we use the acronym RISE to remind us that Relationships matter, Integrity rules, Selflessness wins and that we should pursue Excellence above all. Our team embodies these characteristics throughout the year, but during the holidays I’m particularly proud of how we come together to live out the “S” as we care for our employees, colleagues and communities to build more than just projects. We invite you to join us in that effort through contributions to our annual St. Mary’s Food Drive, running October 23 through November 15. More on the food drive can be found below. Welcome Home: Lessen

In September, we celebrated the opening of Lessen’s new corporate office in Scottsdale. SLC was proud to serve as general contractor for this job, enjoying every opportunity to bring Lessen’s creative vision to life across 42,000 s.f. and multiple floors at Portales Center. Panels Up: Goodyear AirPark

We’re progressing full tilt at Goodyear AirPark Phase I, with panels now up at this Class A, 1.6 million s.f. industrial project for Lincoln Property Company and Harvard Investments. The buildings sit adjacent to Phoenix Goodyear Airport, ranked in June as the busiest single runway airport in the U.S. Stay tuned for more as we complete this awesome project.

AZRE’s 2024 Cool Offices

Congratulations to SLC’s tenant improvement team and our partners at Phoenix Design One for their delivery of Newmark’s new Phoenix office at the Camelback Esplanade – just named an AZRE Magazine “Coolest Office in Arizona”. Food Drive ’23

Our annual St. Mary’s Food Drive is underway and we invite you to join us. Between now and November 15, you can drop food and monetary donations off at our office or have a Costco order delivered to us (all Attn: Rebecca Lopez). You can also click here to donate online. We’re on a mission to break our 2022 record of 177,691 meals provided to those experiencing food instability in Phoenix.

Spooktacular Showdown

The ingenuity of Team SLC isn’t limited to our projects – particularly when prizes are involved! On October 31, our creative employees traded out hard hats and vests for some hauntingly awesome Halloween attire. It was another memorable annual company costume contest. Thanks everyone for the fun!
