New Beginnings

Spring is often a season for beginnings and it is definitely one for us as we settle into our new headquarters in the Camelback Corridor. This larger space allows us to bring our full team under one roof – a tremendous advantage as we organize and empower our company to pursue a litany of exciting market opportunities. Trend-wise, the Valley is experiencing steady tenant improvement and ground-up construction demand. Post-pandemic adjustments continue to linger, and we’re proud to be a part of the force providing what today’s Phoenix office and industrial users require. Logistically Speaking

We’ve kicked off construction at Camelback 303 Logistics Center, a two-building, Class A industrial project for Brookfield Properties in Goodyear. Totaling 616,000 square feet within Merit Partners’ PV 303 master planned business park, Camelback 303 Logistics Center offers expansive additional land that supports a rising demand for Industrial Outdoor Storage. Back at The Grove!

We’ve been spending quite a bit of time at The Grove these days. Our latest project: the new Clayco regional headquarters, just named RED Awards Office Interiors Project of the Year! Spanning a full floor, this TI mixes lounge, café, training, library and office space, all embodying Clayco’s “Art & Science of Building” identity. RED Awards GC of the Year

Stevens-Leinweber Construction was named General Contractor of the Year at this year’s RED Awards! Honors like this don’t happen in a vacuum, and for that we extend our deepest thanks to the entire SLC team and our many amazing subcontractors, vendors and clients. We appreciate you and AZ Big Media for this honor.

Speaking of the RED Awards…

… It was definitely a banner night for Team SLC. In addition to our GC of the Year and Clayco Office Interiors Project of the Year recognitions, Chandler Connection (our ground-up industrial and TI project for Comunale Properties) was named Industrial Project of the Year. Our Alliance Bank, Bowman & Brooke, and Osborn Maledon office tenant improvements, and our Lex Cotton and Merit Wolf industrial ground-up projects, were also selected as RED finalists. Congratulations to all!

Another Hole in One

Women in Construction Week wouldn’t have been the same without another successful Sip & Swing, the annual SLC event celebrating our many amazing female colleagues and the achievements we’ve made together. Thanks to all of our returning Sip & Swing guests and thanks to the new faces who help this event grow in size (and fun!) year after year.

TI Revisited

Team SLC experienced our tenant improvement results in action this Spring, with a personal tour of the Southwest Experience Center. This showroom is a one-stop-shop for our industry to dream, design and deploy big in the tenant improvement space. Look inside the one-of-a-kind SWXC building here.
