Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station
SLC delivered this tenant improvement for a local utility provider that consisted of 50,000 SF and included the complete interior demolition and reconstruction of multiple floors within an occupied, high-security facility. Delivered in an active environment, the project required detailed coordination, phased construction, and strict adherence to security and operational protocols. Key elements included construction of new offices, conference rooms, huddle spaces, restrooms, and employee amenities, along with infrastructure upgrades to support the renovated workspace. The reconfigured floor plan prioritized perimeter offices and open workstations to maximize natural light and visibility, improving collaboration and functionality. Design features, including a hexagonal motif inspired by the client’s branding, were integrated into architectural elements and lighting throughout the space.
