A long-term lease from Best Buy quickly turned First Park Pebble Creek from a 547,764-square-foot, Class A industrial building into an 802,439-square-foot shell project and full-building tenant improvement – designed to serve as the Southwest distribution hub for one of the nation’s leading electronics and appliances retailers.
Alongside an expert development team, SLC quickly pivoted to deliver this scope of work while maintaining speed-to-market for Best Buy. The resulting building, located within Merit Partners’ sought-after PV303 business park, features 40’ clear height, 6000 amps of power, ESFR sprinklers, clerestory windows and 8” reinforced floors for the latest in racking and equipment. From a logistics perspective, it offers a 60’ speed bay and dock-high and drive-in doors with full Rite Hite automated dock packages.
The build-out spans office space, a designated shipping/receiving area, custom specialty repair workstations with floor draining and dedicated power, 120 forklift battery charging stations, and a patio with covered custom shade sails and seating. Its location along the Loop 303 provides exceptional access for employees and direct connection to the region’s extended logistics transportation network.
