Second building at Phoenix Logistics Center totals 481,600 s.f. of Class A industrial space

PHOENIX, Arizona, May 10, 2021 – Leading industrial developer Merit Partners has selected Stevens-Leinweber Construction (SLC) to build the second building at Phoenix Logistics Center. Called PLC Two, the 481,600-square foot building is located within the Interstate 10 Corridor in the Phoenix industrial market. It is being built on a speculative basis.

Amenities of PLC Two include 40’ clear height, 8” reinforced floor, 70’ speed bays, a 190’ truck court and 436 auto and 157 trailer parking stalls. It also features 160 dock-high and six grade-level doors and generous power.

“PLC Two will deliver the kind of Class A product that Merit Partners is known for, with all of the efficiencies needed to operate a state-of-the-art warehouse, distribution or manufacturing operation,” said SLC Vice President Erik Powell. “We appreciate our continued relationship with Merit and their trust in our work.”

Phoenix Logistics Center is located on the southeast corner of 91st Avenue and Buckeye Road in Phoenix, Arizona. It is less than three miles from a full-diamond I-10 interchange and less than 30 minutes from Sky Harbor International Airport. For last-mile distributors, the project is also within a 30-minute drive to more than 1.9 million residents and 6,7052 households.

The project architect for PLC Two is Ware Malcomb. Anthony Lydon, Marc Hertzberg, Riley Gilbert and John Lydon of JLL are the building’s exclusive leasing brokers.

Construction on PLC Two is underway now, with shell completion expected by the end of Q3 2021.

When completed, PLC Two will sit adjacent to PLC One, a fully leased, 268,872-square-foot industrial building.
