What is your most vital role at SLC?

My role here is building – literally and figuratively! It’s vital for me to build strong client relationships… to execute building projects from the estimating, budget and project management perspectives… and build the best possible SLC team in the office and in the field.

What inspires you about what you do?  

No construction project is the same. I have a deep background in construction but I still learn from each project we work on and from every partner we work with.

What has been the proudest moment in your career?

The proudest moment in my career happened at SLC – when this team put their faith in me to create a brand new construction division. I give 110% every day to make sure SLC is the best place for clients to bring their ground-up projects.

What is one piece of advice you’d give the market right now?

Regardless of market cycle or fundamentals, always approach jobs with a goal of gaining repeat business. Get to know your clients and their expectations, execute best practices on a job-by-job basis and you’ll be more than a “one-and-done” provider.
